sorry if this has already been talked about.
but when i take pics in viewer on my new system, which is running vista, i get black pictures.

why?

I get them on my laptop with xp now and I never did before this.

Maybe you need to adjust the amount of space or something, or check security settings for third party stuff. I have vista but I'm using downloader.

You have to go to the real player settings.

On viewer there is a little blue real player symbol.
It takes you to real player preferences ( the viewer has to be running)
go to the menu on the left and select hardware.

Under video card compatability slide the bar all the way to the left where it says most reliable. I have XP and that is what fixed it for me.
