If you have a really long link that you would like to post you can use the link function.
It can be used for any size link, both long and short. Long links will make the page very wide and then readers have to scroll.

It's very easy to do.

When you post there are little graphics at the top of the post. There is the quote function, one for posting images, one for youtubes, and also one for a link.

It looks like a little link in a chain. :

1. copy the url of the page you want to link
2. select the chain link icon as pictured above
3. paste your link in the top line
4. type what you want the link to say. For example: Link to the story or you could type the title of the article.
5. select OK.
