These rain delays have been a great way to get to know the drivers better. I love the interviews with them in the motorcoach lot and all the behind the scenes stuff they do to fill the empty non-race time.

BTW, Birmingham got an INDY race for spring. This will be interesting, the track is brand new and about 20 minutes from the Talladega Superspeedway.

First night race at Atlanta...

We went to the race last night. We were in Atlanta anyway. That speedway is first class, I loved it.

I saw Tom C talking to Jeff G and Jimmie J just before they fired their engines thru my binoculars. I didn't believe that it was him, till I read that he was there in the paper this morning.

That is one special track, whereas "Dega" has rightly earned it's reputation as being the capital of the redneck kingdom two weekends a year.

Carl's car had an Aflac duck on crutches, I thought that was cute.

Kyle won't make the chase, I don't think.
