| I'm sooooo glad football season is fianlly here!!! I didn't realize our schedule was so tough...We have 3 of the current Top 10 teams on our schedule, and 2 of those games are in hostile environments...We also had Clemson who was #9 at the time, but I think that ranking was a bit ambitious. | Roll Tide ( of course)! I love going to college football games! My Dad was a high school football coach and we were at either a Bama or Auburn game every weekend in the fall. Season ticket holder at Alabama for years. Saturday night's game was our best since we played Florida at home about 4 years ago. However, we got the SI cover then and things only went downhill from there. I hope the curse is broken. RTR, Natalie! |

| I just wanna brag about how awesome our stadium looks 98,000 people! I think that's the largest crowd to ever watch a football game in Texas. And this is our new defensive coordinator. Auburn fans should recognize him. _________________ Moderator We're TEXAS.

| Last night's game was a bit of a disaster, but we pulled out a win. No offensive touchdowns scored on our defense , yet. I think it might be a longer season for us than originally thought. |

| Jen, I'm trying to convince myself that this poor performance by our offense was a good thing, and that it's good we got this wake-up call before the Georgia game. RMFT! |

| Jane, what are they saying about your game with Arkansas this Saturday? We were hoping that the Longhorns would beat up on them, since we play them the next Saturday. |

I'm actually hoping Arkansas wins. I want all of our opponents to win all their games except when they play us (even though that's mathematically impossible). That makes us look even better. I especially like for SEC teams to beat non-SEC teams.

| Nick Saban(our coach) said "shit" on his live radio show last night. We all laughed our asses off as the show host turned all different shades of red. Love our coach. I think we just might have a better chance to win than I originally thought. Someone asked him what he tells his boys about dealing with the other team during the game. Coach said that he tells them not to talk shit to the other team. Last night's game just shows how the NCAA rules have changed the course of college football. Things can change on a dime and any team, no matter how badly they are supposed to lose per the Vegas sports books, can pull out an upset win. The Oregon State coach is an ex Bama player, so I am happy about the results. This just puts more pressure on Georgia to win our game tomorrow night. I love, love, love college football!!!!!!! |

| I am mad I missed last night's game...I was SO overwhelmed with all the season premieres that I forgot to switch to the game...I love upsets (as long as Alabama is not upset), and I am soooo not a fan of USC...Looks like I missed a good one...Dammit!!! |

I agree wholeheartedly...I don't like being ranked high this early either...People seem to pay too much attention to you when you're ranked high...I'd rather sneak "up on" teams...We're #3 in the Harris Poll, but I'd rather be #5 and slowly go up the polls until the end of the season.
