| It was tough. Everyone was quiet leaving the Georgia Dome. I want Oklahoma to do us a huge favor and beat the heck out of Tebow and his band of merry men on January 8. I just got a letter from the University and we will be getting Sugar Bowl tickets thru the school. BTW, I heard that there were over 200 people at our airport last night when the team plane landed singing our fight song and showing the team and coaches a lot of love and support. Saban said to give him two more years and we will be as good as Florida. |

| Oh, bamajen, I thought of you last night when they lost. I said to my DH, bamajen is going to be in a real funk over this loss and he just looked at me in an odd way! That's great the way so many went to the airport to show their support of the players and coaches!!! _________________ "To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven."

I was cheering for Alabama Jen. My daughter was watching with me and she said that Oklahoma and Alabama had a lot in common... old-time football powers from a smaller state..long tradition of winning etc. ( I guess I shouldn't tell you what else she said..lol.. but I will.. both crappy states with not much else to give us pride)
Oklahoma is the underdog if we even get in the finals. I like that. Edit to add: George Lynn Cross, a long-time OU President once joked, " Let's have a University our football team can be proud of." |

It really was an exciting game so much so that I couldn't watch parts. It looked like Ohio was going to win. I am sorry your team lost Ebowers. |

| Okie State just lost. I usually cheer for the other Oklahoma school, but some of their fans were just assholes last week when our quarterback ( Oklahoma - Sam Bradford) got injured and we lost... so I'm not feeling too charitable. |

| Nancy, I wanted to cry for Bradford. I have a lot of family in Oklahoma and they are my second favorite team. Some interesting upsets today. Bama came out flat and looked really bad in the 1st half to an inferior team. Thankfully, they got an ass chewing at half time and looked better in the 2nd half. Next week the marquee game is Tennessee and Florida. I look for the Gators to lay a whole lot of points on the Vols. Going to be brutal in Gainesville, I fear |

| Scared shitless tonight! Tomorrow is a huge game, the other team is fired up, their whole season rests on this win and it is at their home field. I can't remember ever being so scared about a game. Our QB has never lost a game is a phenom and we have some amazing players. But Ole Miss wants this game more than any game they have played in the past 10 years. At Alabama we play for championships, not single games. I am afraid that if we should lose, the team will give up on the rest of the season. It just appears that we will get a rematch with Florida for the SEC championship and maybe play for the national title in January. That may all be down the drain tomorrow if we lose. Shepard Smith from FOX will be the special Ole Miss guest and he has been talking all week about how fired up they are for this game. Tomorrow night's 3 hour drive home might be the longest ride home sad, or one of pure relief. |

| The Red River Shootout looks really sloppy now. Boomer Sooner ( as she hides) I feel so bad for Bradford. I think my husband shed a few tears when he went down again. |
