I've hardly seen this show.. isn't that awful? It's much more the kind of dance I teach. I just hope the husband won't pitch a fit.

The only thing that drags for me is the auditions in each city....there are really some bad stuff out there.

Ha that reminds me. I get a LOT of people calling me wanting jobs.
One guy.. he sounded like an older teen... wanted to talk to me about teaching hip hop. I asked him about his training, and his experience. He said he auditioned for So you think you can dance. I feel terrible because I laughed a little too loud.
I didn't need anyone, so it was an easy let-down. Heck, I won't even talk to a teacher unless she/he has a degree or professional experience.

I can't remember who said it, but one of you guys said that you can't stand watching the "knuckleheads" that audition for AI... laugh so hard I crie

that really stuck in my mind, and I still laugh about it when I think of it. I bet is was Wilde, she seems like someone who would use the phrase "knucklehead". LOL

Not me, Moody, I LOVE watching the goobahs that audition!!....even though I feel embarrassed Embarassed

for some of them.

I would say Flower or CousinJake said they don't like watching the knuckleheads during the auditions.

Nancy - you aren't mean. It wouldn't be human not to feel uncomfortable watching that. I knew they wouldn't put her through. They don't do that unless they feel you really are good and as much as she tried, she wasn't good (well you know what I mean).

I thought that "clothes dryer" move from the girl in yellow (the couple) was awful to watch, as good as is what. She looked like she was missing her legs, and her amazing ability to spot freaked me out.

What's up with those judges. What's the story of the one with the loud laugh who sort of looks like Marie Osmond? Who is she? That first outfit she had on with the while blouse- it looked like she had a back brace on. I want to hear more about who these judges are, especially her.

I thought its was funny how the judges giggled and laughed through several of the auditions.

Her name is Mary Murphy. She was a former ball room dancer. Nigel (the British guy) is the producer of the show, I think.

They usually have one other (sometimes two) guest judges who are choreographers. They are the ones that choreograph the routines once the show gets going.
