Anyone here SYTYCD fans? The premiere is Thursday May 22nd on Fox. I adore this show and it's so much fun. The only downside this year is that Wade R. isn't choreographing, and he did the most creative routines.

I SHOULD like it, but I just can't get into it for some reason. Busman's holiday, I guess.

I'm going to try to watch it this season. I like dance shows, and it's funny when I make my kids watch stuff like that and they dance along. They dance as a couple for Dancing with the Stars and my daughter dances to anything fast on American Idol.
I'll be sad when my son doesn't do that anymore. He's not cool yet, LOL.

Will a mod merge this thread with the one inkydinkydoo made? I guess she didn't see I'd already started a thread for SYTYCN.
I enjoy the show more after the first couple of episodes, because we get to see who was picked and get a peek into each dancer's personality. Let's get to the dancing!

Oops! Sorry about that, LM! I looked and I didn't see your thread. It's fine to just let mine sink to oblivion.

Ok, who's LM? There's no need to get rid of your thread, I know that the mods can merge them. I meant to bump up this thread the day it premiered, but forgot. I'm glad you like the show too!!

Did anyone watch last night? There was a girl that made it to Vegas who looked so much like BB's Natalie, that even my son mentioned it.

I have it on Tivo. Thanks for the heads up. I will need to pay strict attention. I have a tendency to look at the dancing rather than the faces.

You will know exactly who I'm talking about, especially when she makes her eyes bug out and Nigel mentions it to her. Sorry, I can't remember her name.

Well tonight was the first night with the top 20 partnered up and there were some great routines. Among my faves were Joshua and Katee "no air" hp hop and Comfort and Chris's Latin Dance.
I think those two couples and Twitch/Kherington and Courtney/Gev were my fave couples.
I didn't really have anyone I was that into when the show picked t's finalist, but as the show goes on and you see more of their personalities, it makes it that much easier to pick.

I agree about Joshua, he is my fave, his ability and his humble demeanor, plus well he is not that hard to look at! But I also like Chelsie!

I watched a little of it, but it got boring for me. Also the negative reviews of Kourtni and her partner's jazz dance irritated me since it was a lot harder than the ballroom stuff.

Katee & Josh's dance really touched me, their dance was the first of the season that has brought out emotion in me. I also liked the Tango dance, but can't remember which couple it was. Chelsea really is a stunning woman.

Katie and Joshua - I enjoyed their performance - loved the part at the end where she pulls off his shirt - hot!

Guess I'm too critical... I saw jerking and acting. Not much dancing. It was entertaining.
