A new Biggest Loser Couples Starts tonight!
Tuesday January 6th @ 8pm Two hours on NBC.

Featuring eleven teams of two people.
This season features the largest contestant to date, as well as both the youngest
and oldest competitors ever to compete. With 18-year-old Mikey at 385
pounds and Dan, who is 454 pounds at 19.

I saw a lot of this last night. The total weight of these couples astounds me.

Spoiler:
	I thought it was lousy that one partner had to go home for a month. Their faces and disbelief broke my heart.

NBC is in deep financial trouble. Maybe they sent them home to save some production costs. I was disappointed to see them leave, they needed to be there for health reasons.

BTW, I saw Roger Schultz, runner up of last year's TBL. Roger was at Buffalo Wild Wings and was a good boy, he has gained a little weight back, but he still looks very good. Roger said he is keeping his weight around 220 now.

The "twist" suprised me too, but all those who have partners that manage to stay for the next few weeks will be able to come back. So out of nine that left, 5 will come back so that's good. It will turn out to be the equivelent of letting 2 go at a time.

Mich. 'Biggest Loser' Contestant Charged

CENTERLINE, Mich. - A suburban Detroit contestant on the NBC show "The Biggest Loser" was charged with domestic violence Tuesday.

Shanon Thomas, 30, is accused of throwing flour in her tenant's face.

"I'm really a good upstanding person. I can't believe this is even happening to me," Thomas told 37th District Visiting Judge Sherman Faunce

Thomas pleaded innocent to the domestic violence charge, claiming her former basement buddy tried to throw a pan at her. She was then released on $2,000 bond. If convicted, Thomas could receive up to three months in the pokey.

Tuesday was an an all-around bad day for the Michigan massage therapist. Aside from her court appearance, she was one of nine contestants booted from The Biggest Loser's seventh season premiere, which aired that night. Should her mother, Helen Phillips, remain on the ranch the next 30 days however, Thomas will be invited back. A rep for NBC declined to comment on the arrest.

This is the blonde haired daughter. Sheesh... sounds like the guy was a jerk, she reacted to the threat and when she hit it big with Biggest Loser, he decided to go after her. Jerk.

Did anyone watch last night? I just wanted to crawl through my television and shake that Joelle until she woke up!!!

I was impressed with the weight loss of the person that got voted off though!

I was shocked that Daniel and Jerry were below the yellow line - usually the huge men lose quite a bit each week.

Things look like they are working out ok for Jerry and his wife. I hated to see him go. I hope that Dan can lose the weight he needs to have a long normal life. I feel so bad for the young man.

Was Joelle the girl that wanted the money so badly? Wish she had taken it and gone, she was very annoying.

Yep Bama....Joelle wanted the money...didn't want to exercise...she was the one who felt the wrath of Bob...lol...when he said he channeled Jillian I almost spit pop out of my nose!

I agree, but it's good for the ratings, I suppose. This show has many manifestations now and is a bit long in the tooth.

Nicole Michalik from Season 3 had a lower body lift in early December. She's back to work but can't hit the gym for a few more (two) weeks. (I know a celebrity lol)

I can't imagine choosing to keep that much negativity around regardless of strategy. Joelle's departure is long overdue.

Yup, I just want to Joelle! I can't even imagine having a woman like that anywhere around me - what a buzz kill she is.

I would like to see her gone to.
