| Nicole was sent home last night. I think it was good strategy. Didn't like the last gal's reasoning though... Nicole doesn't 'need' to be there. Good grief, if she didn't need to be there, they wouldn't have selected her for the show. I really don't like that last gal... don't remember her name but she's always rubbed me the wrong way. |

| Last night's episode was a heartbreaker great moment. When the father and son comforted the other son/brother and told him he could do this too.. man it was just a really tender moment. I know guys that were breaking down on this one .. and wow they looked great!! Always sad on any show if a person is out of play because of injury.. but thinking they made the right choice |

| Biggest Loser 7 contestant Dane Patterson has successfully completed a marathon, just over two months after insisting he ran 26.2 miles in his “mind” despite being driven to the finish line by a producer, which led NBC to apologize and investigate. On Saturday, Dane ran 26.2 miles in 5:47:20—a solid time, especially for someone who weighed 395 pounds recently, although that time is nowhere near the amazing 3:53 the show pretended he ran during his first attempt. Back then, he said he doubted he’d finish in under six hours, which was part of his excuse for not running the full distance. Dane placed 3,407 out of 3,961 finishers at the Country Music Marathon in Nashville, which announced in March that Dane would participate as he ran for “redemption.” Dane’s wife Carli finished in exactly the same time, so they presumably ran together. The results indicate that Dane is 18 years old, although his actual age is 27, according to his NBC bio. That’s most likely a typo or data entry error, and certainly doesn’t help him in any way: His results show that he placed 197 out of 213 in that age group, men 18 to 24; in his actual age group, men 25 to 29, he placed 301 out of 329, or would have if his time was included there. |

| I find it interesting that they are sending these four home for 30 days and then bringing them back for a weigh in and a final elimination before the live finale. I wonder which of them will do the best at following through at home? _________________ In combat or competition, where the stress levels are highest, you do not rise to the occasion… you sink to the level of your training.

| Tara and Helen are in the finals, Mike and his Dad Ron were below the yellow line. The public gets to vote who is in the final three between the two of them They all did good on the weight loss at home. A good part last night was Jillian and Bob working with Mike's younger brother. |

| I felt bad for Mike because he was beating himself up for not losing as much as he hoped... but it's time for Ron to not constantly rely on Mike to get him over the yellow line. I'm floored by how great everyone has done and how they look. Good times! |

| Boy ..... Mike, Helen, Tara, Ron and a few others have done so well. I think they all looked great and I'm sure Mike will get to enjoy his college experience next September that much more when he doesn't feel so out of place compared to the other students. He seems so mature for 18. _________________ In combat or competition, where the stress levels are highest, you do not rise to the occasion… you sink to the level of your training.

| Cousin Jake....Do you really think Helen looked good? I thought she looked just awful!!! I thought she was scarey skinny.....and it occured to me that she may have actually starved herself for the last two weeks. And although Jerry won the at home player prize, I thought he looked much OLDER.....maybe it was just me! I DID read on line that folks are saying we should petition to get Max (the brother)on for next season.....I would sign THAT petition!! _________________ "Life isn't about surviving the storm, it's about remembering to dance in the puddles!"

| I'm with you Rayne....she looked way toooo skinny. You know how they say t.v. adds 5 lbs....if that's the case, I can't imagine how she looks in person. And Jerry, I think I'm a year or so younger than him, but I think he's another one that went a little over board with the weight loss. The rest of them all looked great, and I do think it would be great if Max could get on the show too. |

Ya, good point Rayney and beanpot. (I just PVR'd the last half hour and watched it later so I didn't see everyone) I didn't think Helen was all that attractive facially before, during or after her weight loss and she was very thin, for sure. I thought Mike and Tara looked the best. Jerry looked much older than 64. If I hadn't heard his age I would have put him 10 to 15 years older than 64 but the doctor said his health markedly improved and he was off all his previous medications so I guess he should be happy about that. _________________ In combat or competition, where the stress levels are highest, you do not rise to the occasion… you sink to the level of your training.

| You're so right C.J. As long as Jerry is healthy and feels good, that's all that really counts. And if Helen is about 5' or 5'2", then I guess 117 lbs. is o.k.....she just looked really skinny on t.v., but maybe it was the transformation from before and after! She looked good on the Today Show this a.m.! |

| Beanpot.....I read that she is 5'6"......Waaay to skinny. I agree with both of you, health is the most important thing, and I am glad that both Jerry and Helen proved that age does not have to be a factor in your success! _________________ "Life isn't about surviving the storm, it's about remembering to dance in the puddles!"
