Do you dig reptilian aliens who masquerade as beautiful humans? Do you love Elizabeth Mitchell and Scott Wolf? Are you looking for a new sci-fi influenced show to fill the void that Lost will soon leave? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you should watch the first nine minutes of ABC's remake of the 1980s miniseries, V, below. The new alien-invasion drama premieres on Nov. 3 at 8/7c.

I loved the original show and was miffed with the way they dropped it. I was surprised to see 'Julia' from Lost as a main character. I'm looking forward to this show.

I've got the whole thing on VHS. I've looked for the second part, but could not find it on DVD. Wasn't this on HBO?

It was NBC. I checked Wiki. Lots of information!

The miniseries was first released in VHS during the mid-1990s and was later released on DVD in 2001.

I used to love the show "V" in the old days.. I can't wait for the new shows...

I am looking forward to this show. When my children were growing up, very little TV was watched as I regulated what they watched and I encouraged playing outside and with friends. In short, I didn't see the show all those years ago.

This is what happened with the original series... aired as a mini-series... by the time the third installment arrived, the public had lost interest and it wasn't picked up again.

If it is as good as the trailers lead me to believe, I will be disappointed if they mess with the dry spells between showings.

I enjoyed it, only quibble was them running the local election results at the bottom of the screen when Anna was speaking in other languages! Never did see what they came to earth for. I know I'm supposed to care about elections, but that's why they have the news!

Well that was good I hope they carry this one to an end of some kind and don't leave us hanging.
that show about the end of the world on 12-21-2012 looks like it will be another good one. Don't remember if it is movie or series, does anyone know?
