Season Seven, also known as Day 7, of the television series 24 was scheduled to premiere on Sunday, January 13, 2008, but due to the WGA strike, it has been delayed indefinitely "to ensure that Day 7 can air uninterrupted, in its entirety."[1] This season sees the return of Tony Almeida after his supposed death. As confirmed by the recent trailer, he is now behind the day's attacks.

Has anyone followed this series? It will be interesting to see when it starts. When Kiefer is out of jail we may hear more.

This summer we had a 24 marathon. We started with Season 1 and went all the way through Season 6. That was the way to watch it! We didn't need to wait a week to find out what happened. :face:

That's sort of what we did. We started a couple of summers ago, but we've only gotten through three seasons. I agree that I couldn't possibly wait a week to find out what happens! (lol) It stresses me out too.

24 is so exciting it would be great to watch on DVD but I don't think I could wait until the DVD's were released. I have been watching from the beginning. Very disappointed that this season is on hold indefinately.

Sad

I just listened to a TV Guide podcast and they are speculating about when 24 will be on next. 1) They think they may just wait until the fall and do all the 24 episodes at one time. or possibly, 2) They believe that they may release the 1st 12 episodes as a mini 24 and wait until the fall to finish up the season. Either way, they feel that after the writers strike is over they will be filming again and we will get better answers. Now that Kiefer is out of jail, they can film at any time. Gotta love Sutherland's timing! Very Happy

24's Rajskub Counts Down to Motherhood
By: Natalie Finn
Wed, 30 Jan 2008 08:20:48 PM PST

You can accuse Mary Lynn Rajskub of taking her work home with her.

The 24 star, who plays the now-pregnant computer whiz Chloe O'Brian, is expecting a baby with her personal trainer beau, Matthew Rolph, People reports.

This will be the first child for both. The new addition is due toward the end of summer.

"With the strike going on, I had to keep busy!" Rajskub, who got her start as a standup comic, told the magazine. "We are thrilled and couldn't be more excited."

The 36-year-old actress and Rolph, 27, live together in Los Angeles.

Sort of like Kiefer Sutherland's jail sentence, the news seemingly couldn't come at a better time for 24, which along with so many others has been pushed into hiatus by the ongoing writers' strike.

While Rajskub could theoretically could use the time to rest, Chloe, who revealed to her ex-hubby, Morris, that she was with child at the end of season six, can ditch the prosthetics for a real, live baby bump if the strike ends in time.

The first eight episodes, or, eight days, of 24's seventh season have been shot, but Fox opted to postpone the season indefinitely until a full day in the life of CTU can unfold uninterrupted.

Rajskub spent a lot of time making people laugh before inheriting Chloe's permanent scowl. She was one of the original cast members of the HBO cult classic Mr. Show with Bob and David, and in addition to various guest appearances moved on to meatier roles in The Larry Sanders Show and Veronica's Closet.

Her film credits include Road Trip, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama, Magnolia and Little Miss Sunshine.

Most recently, Rajskub was at the Sundance Film Festival promoting the dark comedy Sunshine Cleaning, which also stars Amy Adams and Emily Blunt as sisters who start their own crime-scene and biohazard cleanup service to make ends meet.

I saw some where over the weekend that Jon Voight, was going to be on the new season of "24".

24 Redemption - A two hour event on Sunday November 23 on Fox.

Filmed on location in Cape Town, South Africa and Los Angele's, 24:REDEMPTION stars Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland along with new series cast members Cherry Jones, Robert Carlyle, Gil Bellows and Academy Award winner Jon Voight.
The two-hour event finds Jack Bauer and his mentor CARL BENTON (Robert Carlyle) battling an international crisis, while here at home the nation prepares for a new president on inauguration day. Taking place just a few months before the new day dawns, U.S. State Department officer FRANK TRAMELL (Gil Bellows) and JONAS HODGES (Jon Voight) are
pulling the strings that will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven, which will debut in January 2009

I don't think any of the people on Sunday's show will be on again this season ...... I think it was a way to get Jack forced back to the USA for another frantic 24 hours of action.

I've refrained from talking about the show because I wasn't sure if everyone had seen it. The new President, her son and wife, the secret service agent... The writers set up a nice plot for January. I'll stop there but it's gonna be a bumpy ride Wink

Sorry, JW, I just now saw your question. I don't watch 24, my husband does. He did say he enjoyed it the only thing he said that I remember is that there is a female President now, that's about all I know Very Happy

Thanks, Jack'd!

I am finally home and got the chance to watch it. I am so glad I had the link. I was tempted to buy it on iTunes, but the thought of spending $15 to see it would have held me back.

I don't think you could start out Season 7 without this 2 hr special. I can't help but wonder if they will re-show it closer to the start of the regular season.

It does look like Season 7 will be worth watching.

Thanks again for the link.

JW
