Senator Ted Kennedy died

Subject: Senator Ted Kennedy died August 26th 2009, 7:12 am

I will not say much here as I know this is not the forum to discuss politics. But it is hard to totally ignore the death of this man while being able to discuss the deaths of Micheal Jackson or even Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

One thing that I think can be said here is that he did set an example of how to perserve through immense tragedy and personal imperfections.

On a personal note, my brother-in-laws sister was diagnosed with the same kind of tumor Senator Kennedy had about a month before Kennedy's diagnosis was made public. She died yesterday too. It is just one of those eery coincidences. Having a malignant brain tumor is tough way to die. Watching someone lose so much of who they are is tough.

He was a rich and well-connected man, who did more for the little guy than anyone in politics.

RIP Sen Ted Kennedy.
He served this country for a VERY long time and deserves to have respects paid to him.

I believe more respect than Michael Jackson .

Whether Republican, Democrat or Liberal...I believe most American voters loved Senator Kennedy for what he did for so many Americans.
I was watching the funeral procession just now on TV...geezus...so sad.

I feel sad for his children and grandchildren but it is Caroline I feel the saddest for.
Her Uncle Ted was like her father...he was her rock and her most loving support when her Mom and brother died.

Jfan, may your brother-in-law's sister rest in peace now.
