And Ottis?? OMG! I once read a story about when he played the Monterey Pop Festival. When he got there he was terrified to learn he was about to play a rock festival, and the kids didn't know what to make of a Soul singer on the bill.
By the end of his set he had torn the place apart and the audience gave him several standing ovations!

Wow ...... Eva Cassidy's voice is amazing. Another spectacular talent gone all too soon.

Was ..... Melanie Doane and Serena Ryder are two Canadian girls who are very popular up here in Canada but I don't think they've broken through in the US yet. Jim Cuddy, the man singing the duet with Melanie on Songbird, is a mainstay up here. His band, Blue Rodeo, has been a force for a couple of decades. My sister is a producer for CBC and Jim Cuddy was going to be on her show promoting one of their albums. He needed a spot to warm up so he just sat in her office with an acoustic guitar and played "Try" - she was the only other person in the room! I think she was star struck into silence for the first time in her life. Lol

I was going to ask why there was not a "Kings of Leon" Thread,but then when I tried to bring there YouTube video over it will not let me embed because of copywrite.I wonder why some mucic can be shared and other can't.Really kind of stinks.Still like them though.

I haven't been 'listening' to any music today but so many of Michael Jackson's songs are popping randomly into my head since the movie.

Happy, I can't pick one! Watching the movie, you really 'hear' the lyrics. What was a good song became an amazing song. I love everything from J5 until his final song, (that I know of) 'This is it' which played during closing credits.
