Thanks everyone! I love keeping this thread alive.

BTW, anyone have pictures of the New Moon Wolf Pack? dance

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Summit Entertainment has cast Native American actors Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Spencer is Lakota (Sioux), Pelletier is Cree-Metis, Meraz is Purepecha (Tarasco), Gordon is Hualapai and Houseman is Cree.

The quintet will join Taylor Lautner in portraying members of the wolf pack in New Moon, in which the pack defends humans against vampires.

New Moon stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reprising their Twilight roles as Bella and Edward with Chris Weitz directing. The pic, centering on Bella being drawn into the world of werewolves, will be released domestically on Nov. 20.

Pictured clockwise from lower left in photo above:
- Alex Meraz as Paul
- Tinsel Korey as Emily Young
- Chaske Spencer as Sam Uley
- Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black
- Tyson Houseman as Quil Ateara
- Bronson Pelletier as Jared
- Kiowa Gordon as Embry Call

My 8 yr old wants to see Twilight, because one of her friends saw it. I have no idea if it's appropriate for her or not. Feedback? Thanks.

ps-she has seen Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter and watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer with my husband, until it started getting too racy, so he cut her off:)

My 8 yr old niece saw it and frankly she didn't like it as much as her 12 yr old sister who LOVED it. Her parents are pretty liberal with what she sees in regards to tv and movies so I guess it's your call. I saw it and there is nothing in it that is worse than those movies. One slightly sexual scene which goes nowhere and some suggested sexual things. One violent scene but nothing too graphic IMO.

I agree with GoShorty. She nailed it perfectly. Maybe you can find some youtubes of the movie and watch for yourself to see if there is anything that might upset your daughter.

I love the movie and the books and at age 48 I'm not ashamed to say it. Okay, maybe I'm a little bit worried I've become obsessed and lost my ever loving mind but that's who I am. Crazy Frannypants! Shocked whistle

My twelve year old daughter read the books and loved the movie. My eight year old son was watching the movie with us last night and got a little spooked. He has watched much worse with my husband under my disapproval and it didn't phase him. Last night, he was real sleepy and my husband wasn't here so he didn't make it through much of the movie.

Actor Michael Sheen (The Queen and Frost/Nixon), is set to take on the role of Aro in New Moon.
He will join the entire Twilight cast, including Robert Pattinson, as well as new cast addition Dakota Fanning.
In New Moon, Sheen will play Aro, the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi.
Director Chris Weitz confirmed Sheen’s casting and said he had ‘aggressively’ pursued the actor.
"Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires," he said. "Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat."

Frances would be proud. My daughter and I watched Twilight again this weekend.
I wish we had the special edition DVD with the deleted scenes.

You go Tiger! Now, once you've watched it more than 10 times then you become an official Twilight obsessed fan. lol!

Mappy-- I really enjoy Michael Sheen. He was great in the Underworld Saga and Timeline. I also saw him on an episode of "Punked" (Ashton Kutcher) where he punks his ex wife Kate Beckinsale.

Frances, I love your avatar. It's cute!

And I love reading news about New Moon or the always adorable RPattz. Very Happy

I saw the pics of Robert and Kristen on set filming a scene and they both looked great!

The studio released the names of the actors playing the rest of the Volturi...I am off to find it and I'll post it here.
