Mrs. C..The first time I ever heard of this movie was from another site way back when. I came upon the second half of the movie the other night...and knew I had to see the beginning. I was hanging out in my living room yesterday---flipping channels like a man (lol), and came upon the beginning of the movie. The whole movie is incredibly awesome. Crying.....

Have any of you read the book, "The Wedding"? I read it not realizing that it was the sequel to "The Notebook." It is a quick read and I guess I really liked it because I was reading it during a time period in my life where I just connected...my daughter was getting married.

It's not as good as "The Notebook" but it is good.

I have it but haven't read it yet. I have about 8 books I plan on getting to now that all the holidays and the wedding is done.

I did hear about this book. Is it about Noah and Ali's children?

I watched "The Notebook" for the first time last night. I had put it off forever. It was beautiful, so romantic... I loved it, even though I cried, it was a "good cry" type of thing. I liked that all the characters were "good" for the most part, even the fiancee she left.. it didn't have that typical good guy -- bad guy thing going on. His dad was a good, kind father, her parents, though snobs, loved her and accepted her decisions at the end. I really loved it, wish I hadn't put off watching it for so many years.

adrixoxo, Thanks for sharing. I love that movie. Who sings "Fix You"?

Moody, I can't believe you waited so long to watch this movie. And I must tell you, the Nicholas Sparks book is even better.

Oxygen is playing it back to back today. Between FB, this forum, laundry and baking, I have still managed to sneak peeks at "The Notebook" all afternoon. Like you rallen, I don't think I could ever tire of this movie. My husband has been doing yard work all day so he will be confused when/or if I accidentally call him Noah tonight. hehehe!
