I saw it. It is very good and scary. Be patient though, the first 15-20 minutes are a bit slow.

Do you believe in ghosts Lori? Do you (or anyone reading) like shows like The Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Ghost Adventures? I watch them all!

Has anyone had a paranormal experience that you'd like to share?

I do believe in the possibility of ghosts/evil entities. I've never had a paranormal experience though.

No, I haven't, but I know people that swear they saw something that they couldn't explain.

My 4 year old daughter talks to ghost since she was 2 yrs old. It will come in spurts.. Funny, b/c tonight we went to my Aunts house in the country and Dakota went to the bathroom and came out and started asking me if she could play with the little girl in the room.. I told her there was not another little girl there and she got mad and said yes there is.. So I told her to go ask my Aunt (to see what she would say). My Aunt told her that there was no little girl there and so Dakota said yes there is let me show you.. So we followed her to the bathroom and in there is a closet that leads off the bathroom into another bedroom and she said that she was using the bathroom and she heard the little girl laughing so she went in the closet and the little girl would not get up b/c she was sleeping. So I told her not to wake her up and we left that area. 3 hours later Dakota started going around talking with someone who was not there and when we asked her she said the little girl got up and wanted to play.. (SCARY)..

Anyways.. when she was 2 she would go to my Mom's house and talk to a little girl in the basement. She would get at the top of the stairs and talk down the flight of stairs.. We asked her about it and she said it was Crabby Girl.. I asked her so that is her name and she said no that she calls her that b/c she has boo boos on her face and is sad and wants her Mommy.. Every couple of months when we go to my Mom's house she will come in and go to the stairs and see if Crabby Girl is there.. Sometimes she will say Crabby Girl is with her Mommy and than other times she will say what Crabby Girl is doing at the time.. I have wondered if she has an active imagination of if she really sees these people.. She also has mentioned a scary man that Crabby girl is scared ... So if I believe she really see them, I am scared to answer b/c I dont want the "Ghost" to think they have to prove anything to me.. I dont want to see them or know if they are there.. LOL.. Thank God she has not talked to anyone in our house.. But since the earlier incident just happened today, it is weird that you asked..

I DO NOT want to see this movie.. Since seeing the trailer I have started sleeping with my sheets tucked under my legs so nothing can get in the bed with me.. LOL>.

wow Butterfly that stuff about your daughter seeing those other girls scared the crap out of me! I am laying here at 3 AM alone in the dark on my bed lol

Can't wait to see Paranormal Activity; love scary movies...........

Butterfly, I was thinking that your daughter had an imaginary friend...but if she is seeing different little girls then it isn't an imaginary friend.

I seriously can't watch this movie because I would have nightmares over it.

I don't believe it is based on a true story and yes it was terrifyingly realistic. It was shot in the same manner as Blair Witch Project - just two people trying to document manifestations going on in their home.

My daughter is a high school senior and I asked her if the kids in school were talking about the movie. She said the kids said if you believe in ghosts you'll be scared and if you don't you'll just think it's stupid.

Me, I'll be scared. I've already had 3 ghosts in my life. The last one didn't move with us when we did. Thank goodness. And I'm afraid that if I go see it, it'll give the ghosts a reason to revisit me again. Don't want them, don't like them. Sounds stupid, huh? I can live with stupid.
