Quote:
I was born under unusual circumstances. And so begins The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any mans life can be. Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond, Benjamin Button, is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.

Amazing movie, but it left me wonder just how they did some of the make-up and graphics.

Can't wait to see the "how it was made/behind the scenes footage."

i loved the movie Moody.

I actually stayed interested the whole time. The only problem i have is I just dont have 3 hours to sit and watch a movie! I have to watch it in parts.

I cried a few times, laughed and watched to see how it ended.

It was a long movie. My daughter and I rate movies by the number of times we look at our watches. LOL

For a 3 hr movie, I only looked at my watch once. So I would have to give it 4 stars. And yes, I did bring out a tissue to blow my nose a few times.

Most of all, I am still wondering how they made Brad look like a little boy?

It was well acted.

I watched this movie and it looked pretty real when he was born and aged backwards, BUT I left the theater feeling pretty empty. The movie did nothing for me.
Now Slumdog Millionaire was good Smile

No not depressed. I meant no emotion. I like to leave the theater with some sort of feeling about it....whether I loved it, thought it was funny, hated it, entertained me....this movie had none of those. I can't describe it correctly. It was long. I had to go get a refill on popcorn(thank god the refill was free where I live) because I was falling asleep half-way through. BUT, I didn't hate it. I didn't love it either. It's just there. scratch

Kim, I wanted to see Marley and Me sooooo bad...but someone said it is a tearjerker.
Let me know if it is a comedy or a real tearjerker.

it's funny and cute, but a tear jerker.

Marley looks just like my Sadie........ so it was really a tear jerker for me.

I guess it was a book? and it's a true story about this man his wife and their dog....then their family.

The dog is a menace! Which my Sadie is not. but.....

I thought Marley meant it would be a girl dog, but Marley is a he!

I dont know if kids would like it. I know it would probably crush my little girl

I'm with you Kimmie, I thought it was funny and cute but a definate tear jerker for me anyway.....we have a black lab who's getting up there in age. He wasn't a menace at all he's always been a good boy. My girls want to see it but we'll wait til it comes out on video.

i use www.davidmovie.com or www.66stage.com or www.surfthechannel.com (this one use firefox)

Megavideo has the best quality movies, but they cut you off after 72 minutes and you have to wait for abit to finish watching it. unless you buy the membership.

So i try and find the movie in something other than Megavideo.
