I'm not a fan of Brad, but I luvvv Cate Blanchet, so will be watching this over the weekend...

Can't wait to watch Slumdog Millionaire as well king

I actually thought Cate Blanchet was GOOD in this movie. She looked beautiful and I've never really thought she was.
I think most people would like this movie. I had high expectations going into the movie so maybe that is why I was disappointed. Maybe I expected something different considering the director. That could be it.

it's funny and cute, but a tear jerker.

Marley looks just like my Sadie........ so it was really a tear jerker for me.

I guess it was a book? and it's a true story about this man his wife and their dog....then their family.

The dog is a menace! Which my Sadie is not. but.....

I thought Marley meant it would be a girl dog, but Marley is a he!

I dont know if kids would like it. I know it would probably crush my little girl

Thank you for telling me, Kim, I am going to hold off seeing Marley and me....maybe in a few more months I can watch it.

I finally saw this on the Pay per view..

I thought it was fantastic. Brad Pitt did a wonderful acting job.
I didn't think it was THAT sad, but I knew from reading about it what happened, so it wasn't shocking.
What was shocking is how they got Pitt to look just like he did in "A River Runs Through It" ( near the end where he looks about 18 )
Also Brad Pitt is one hell of a good looking man.

---
Oh and the dancing scenes.. I thought Cate Blanchett did a wonderful job on the dance scenes. I could tell there was a stand-in or a dance double on a few things...
( the very extended develope' and the fouette' turns at the end - for those who know dance)

Oh I also want to add... If you are young, say under 30 and didn't like this movie, wait about 10 years and watch it again. Or wait even longer.

My husband and I finally watched this movie last night. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett were incredible in this movie. We both thought the ending was especially depressing.
