Julie Chen and Les Moonves welcomed a son, Charlie, at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, September 24th in Los Angeles.

“Mother and child are doing well,” a CBS rep tells Celebrity Baby Blog.

Julie, 39, announced the pregnancy in April and the sex of the baby in July.

The Early Show and Big Brother host would have been due October 4th. Husband Les, the CBS Corporation President and CEO, also has three children – Adam, Michael and Sara — from a previous marriage.

Congratulations to the Moonves famiy! Julie was early. I thought she said she was due on the 4th of October.

Any confirmation that the Baby name is Charlie? i keep seeing things about baby Charlie, which is very cute IMO, but Chuckie Moonves is kinda spooky! Though, Chaz Moonves is a cool name IMO....

LALA, I was thinking about Charlie Chen for a minute.

Good timing on Julie's part - she made it throught the season and the baby will 9 months old before the next season of BB.

I just now saw this thread...congratulations to Julie and hubby and welcome to baby Charlie. My new cousin in Florida, born in July, is named Charlie!
I also thought Charlie Chen for a minute!!
