There are also some shots of Carrie and Mike playing golf at a Tulsa, Ok country club circulating around. I saw them on the talk-sports board and Off the Ice board. These were the actual first photos together but Mike has his back turned in two of them. The third is just Carrie. Shes really cute in her little golf skirt. Posters are saying it was the weekend of Carole Underwoods birthday celebration. So Mike is hanging with the Underwoods too! This couple is headed in the right direction.

Mike was on the A channel here in Ottawa for a couple of hours (7 to 9 am) yesterday. It was the kick off to the World Vision campaign to get 2000 new child sponsors from the Ottawa area by Sept. 7th. Mike ended his part of the show by taking shots at host Kurt Stoodley who was in the dunk tank outside. (number of shots based on sponsors signed up during the show) Kurt had been on the World Vision trip to El Salvador as well. (Looks like True Religion jeans? - must be a favourite of his)

CJ...thank you for the wonderful story and pictures of Mike. He is such a wonderful Christian man! I think it is so wonderful that celebrities like Mike and Carrie participate in missions that help others and make a difference in others lives!

Cj...also I love the picture of your fish!! What kind is it...a Northern Pike???

...... before you ask defrogger, (Lol) Mike wasn't there. He said in a radio interview earlier this week that, unfortunately, he couldn't be there for Jason's wedding as he was going to be the best man at another wedding today.

Thanks for posting those pictures on Jen and Jason. Wow, they make a nice looking couple. The pictures are really good too. All their dreams are coming true. A wedding is such a beautiful thing full of happiness. I wish them the best of many days to come.

Photos of Carrie at the Opry looking very classy and featuring those hot legs of hers. Her voice was sent down from heaven! During the song Get Out Of This Town fans were giving Carrie gifts. When someone handed her a Candian flag she giggled. Here is the video link to see it.

Sounds like Mike's hockey camp this year was as successful as last year's. Good for them. They raised $50,000 for charity last year and it sounds like they did as well or better this year.

I guess a dollar figure might get posted later but to have raised 50K last year is a huge success! After viewing all of the pictures and video, the camp is just a win-win-win situation. The participants, the staff, the reciepents of the proceeds are all so blessed. As for Mike throwing a big BBQ, now that sounds fun and very gratuitous. I love hearing so many people say that Mike is such a nice guy!!

Edited to add: I forgot to mention that I saw Carrie (from a distance again - Lol) at the game against Atlanta Saturday night. I imagine she was up in Ottawa to spend Thanksgiving weekend with Mike and his family. I didn't see her at Monday night's game so I don't know if she was there or not.

It's safe to say NHL star Mike Fisher didn't woo his famous girlfriend, country singer Carrie Underwood, with a song.

"I like to sing," the Ottawa Senators player tells The Sens Show, a Web news program for his team. "[But] when I try to sing some of her songs, she just laughs!"

Fisher, 29, praises Underwood's talent, saying she's more than just a country crooner. "She can sing anything – I like it when she sings a good rock song," he says, adding that his favorite song of hers is something called "Temporary Home" from her new album, Play On, due out Nov. 3.

Fisher says the under-the-radar couple, who rarely speak publicly about their relationship, struggle to find together time but do their best to stay close.

"Obviously it's tough with our schedules to see each other," he tells the program. "But we always find a way to make it work."

His busy girlfriend, he adds, is "very committed, and she works extremely hard. She doesn't get too many days off – a lot less days off than I get. She's always going."

The hockey star, who also mentioned that he made a summer charity trip to El Salvador on behalf of World Vision, met Underwood, 26, at a concert in Toronto last October when the two were introduced through mutual friends.
