Head of Household #6: Renny

Dear Fans,
This is Renny, hopefully one of your favorite Big Brother Housequest! I am so excited about sharing some of my thoughts with you. First, I would like to thank everyone that tunes in for every episode, especially all my fans and enjoys our antics in the house. Secondly, I want to thank my beautiful husband Patrick, my daughter Paris and my son Patrick Ruben, aka "Sparky". Loving shout out to my son - in-law Benson! They have always been there for me and supported me throughout my life. I love you always and forever. This experience has been like no other I have ever experienced. I know first hand how difficult it is living with this many people. It can be sheer chaos! All these houseguest have different personalities, and it's like trying to maneuver through a minefield. Every day you wake up knowing most of everyone schemed the entire day to try and get you out, so they can win the half a million dollars. I have already been told people would not take me to the end because I am well liked by many of the houseguest. If that is the case, I hope my fans consider me for America's favorite. I have been playing this game hard. Many people may not realize the sheer hell I've been put through at the hands of Jerry (The Colonel). He still has not apologized for what he did to me. Let me guess, I'm too old for him to give me an apology. In his state of mind you have to be a young chick to get one. By the way Colonel, how about covering your mouth when yawning I'm tired of seeing it, you look like a Rhino! Take some etiquette classes.
April, I was so tired of you prancing around this house like a drama queen, you won the cash, the clothes, suck it up chick your good at closing deals. However this is one gamer you could not close RENNY, Good for one this game is closed for you!
Memphis your a good looking shrewd young man, however I've had my eye on you since day one, I believe you think you've won the game already. It's not over to the fat lady sings!
Michele, you have a winning personality. I like to hear you laugh. Your one tough broad from the east coast! I do believe though you would sell me out for the guy's. I love how you talk about your mother, she is a beautiful mother, she must be proud.
Dan, you are the most unusual young man. I like you a great deal. However call me Sherlock Holmes, you are a very suspicious suspect. Sometimes some things are too good to be true, you are falling into that category mate. I do admire you for being a sweet young man and very loving. Shout out to your mother Sue. However in the game some things don't make sense and you don't. Call me Judge Judy!
Ollie you a gentle soul, I know you might have found love in the big brother house. More power to you.
Keesha you have been my best friend in the big brother house. I know what's coming. However you have been my rock in here and I have trusted you. I am not here to make friends, yet along the way I think you are a treasure. Some people in this house are taking advantage of your good nature, but you are extremely smart. I will never forget you lady!
I want to tell everyone good-bye and I hope to see you when I get out. I am always there for my fans! I will never forget all of you for watching me! I love all of you,

Does everyone know that there is another storm in the gulf and as of now they say it may head towards Louisiana? OF coarse the hole coast line has to keep an eye out but if it does go there do you think they would tell Renny?

I was wondering the same thing.

This storm might be a whopper for the Gulf Coast.

During S6 there was a hurricane headed for the coast of Fla..and BB didn't tell Janelle
anything about it...Can't remember if it went ashore or not but I believe it did.
Remember she woke up the next morn telling the H/G that she had a dream that a hurricane had hit Miami...

I think I do remember that. You keep your eyes open Char. You never know where it will go.

If you need a place to bed down come on up north. They will usually veer east or west before they reach this far north.

Thanks but I think we'll stay put. Our kids and grandkids are here.

Metairie, where Renny lives is the largest community in Jefferson Parish. From what I'm hearing on CNN, they are going to be one of the worst hit areas from Gustav. Prayers going out to Renny's family and to everyone else in the area.

No campaigning whatsoever. It has been really strange.

I just really like this picture and moment. She is commenting about how her children like her just the way she is.

Renny is a pretty woman I think. That is a good picture Mood.

I hate to see Renny leave too.

I told TRD he has to do a photo shoot with her.

Mom on CBS reality show gives shout-out to AU

Fans of CBS' "Big Brother" no doubt have noticed a state connection.

Renny Martyn, one of the final five vying for the top prize of $500,000, is often wandering around the "Big Brother" house in Auburn shirts.

Why? Because her son, Patrick "Sparky" Martyn was a punter for the Tigers until 2006.

Patrick, 24, and his sister, Paris, 27, convinced their mom to audition for the CBS show, which sticks 13 people in a house together, cut off from the outside world. One person is voted out of the house each week, and the last one standing wins the money.

"My mom's not really into reality shows, but she loves `Big Brother' and `Survivor,'" says Patrick, who lives in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans, with his parents. "Me and my sister kept checking the CBS site, and all of a sudden, saw they were having auditions in New Orleans."

After several auditions, Renny was named to the cast, and flew out to Los Angeles to begin the competition." The last time I saw her was July 1," Patrick says.

Since then, Renny has left quite a mark on "Big Brother." She almost lost the first week, but since then has become one of the more animated people on the show this season, a New Orleans hairdresser known for her outlandish personality.

"That's my mom in full form," Patrick says. "That's how she is at home in front of me and my dad."

The Martyns have kept up with Renny by watching as much "Big Brother" as they can, including the primetime airings (three a week), live feeds on the Web and late-night footage on Showtime.

"We're living day by day by watching every possible thing we can," Patrick says. "In the beginning, it was like crack. Now, I've weened myself off of it a bit, but I still watch it a lot. I couldn't be more proud."

He thinks his mother has played a great game, with strategy getting her as far as she's made it in the game.

"Her strategy so far has been working for her," Patrick says. "She's a very vivacious person and has a loud personality. Some people might not know how to take it. But she's cooking constantly and helping clean. She sits back and lets everyone else do the dirty work."

It's Patrick who gave Renny the Auburn gear she's wearing on "Big Brother."

"I gave her two or three shirts before she left, but the show came back and said they couldn't use them because it had too many Under Armour logos on them," he says. "Now, she's wearing generic Auburn Athletes shirts. They only have the big A-U on them."

Patrick, now in industrial sales, studied international business at Auburn while backing up punter Kody Bliss. He punted three times for 100 yards during his career at Auburn.

He says his mother is just as competitive as her son, although he doesn't know how far she'll make it in the game. "The game is so screwy, and everything can change," Patrick says. "You never know."
