FanFare at the Beau Rivage Casino (Biloxi, MS):


My trip started with me rushing around trying to leave work, getting ready, and driving two hours for the Big Fan Fare event. I would say, in general, I am not a fan person so this whole experience seemed bizarre to me anyway. Not helping the feeling was my good friend explaining to me how she explained to her family that this event was like a Star Trek convention thing. Ughhh..

Before the big event, I was gambling, just doing my usual running from machine to machine. Normally, I am in the zone and notice nobody, but out of the corner of my eye, I see Memphis at the craps table and I do a double take and he saw me do it. UGHHH. So I keep walking and I think, I got to get a picture, so I circle around the machines trying to get an angle and he looks up again. Couldn’t do it!! I choked. Now my game is all off, I am feeling like a trekie.

I get to the big event early and get a good table. Memphis is in this closed off area, but you can see him and I want to take his picture, but I don’t want to look like a stalker. Keesha walks in and you notice her right away because she has really blond hair. Again, I should have taken pictures but I did not.

The Fan Fare event is where Keesha/Memphis each gets a team and they have to do dumb stuff. Memphis and Keesha were both really good sports. Keesha had just arrived minutes before the event. Her plane was delayed and they lost her luggage.

I did not think I would get any pictures because the club was dark. I didn’t get any pictures with my camera. Pictures of the games are as follows….
















Next up what happened when I met them. Plus a really good picture of Keesha and a picture of Keesha/Memphis.....

Thanks ndd, sounds like you had a great time. Did they spill any "juicy behind the scenes big brother gossip" as promised in the ad?

Now, the games end and I am thinking I have no pictures at all. I didn’t know I had any pictures until I got home because the camera’s screen picture looked like stick figures. Some DUT detective, I am. Plus, no proof I even attended the event. The announcer mentions you can take pictures and get autographs with Keesha/Memphis. This is my time…..

But noooo it is photographs with a photographer which I find out while I am waiting in line. So we are told if we can catch them outside of the closed off area, we can take our own pictures with them. It is a… what the hell moment …so I go and stand in line to take a picture with Keesha..


First impression: She is absolutely gorgeous and she is a lot skinnier than I imagined. The time with Keesha was so quick; I don’t know what I thought about her. I forgot to mention during the game, I got to hear her famous laugh and it is infectious. She did do the tongue thing during the game a lot and I think she does it because she is nervous.

This first picture ends and I got nothing to report. We tried taking pictures outside the closed off area (zone), but we got heads of other people only. The photo with Keesha was easy so we decide to have a picture taken with Memphis.

First/Last/Final impression of Memphis: When I first saw him at the craps table, I was amazed at how great looking a man he is in person. He looks skinnier in person than on TV too. During the game, he really interacted with his team and the audience. He is definitely comfortable around people which surprised me because I just never thought of him as a people person. We get up there for the picture and I blurt out to him how great looking he is…. I mean, I think I was in a daze…. He has a great smile and I didn’t have anything to lose, right? I ask him for an autograph which he does. Here is the good part, he turns around and asks us where are we from….. You know I am in heaven ….. We proceed to talk about Florida and how he dated a girl in Gulf Breeze and he knew the family was affected by the Hurricane. He tells us he went to Florida State and how he loved the South. He told us where he grew up and how he chose Florida State. FYI: Guy to Girl ration. Then the photographer (hate him) grabs him and takes him to do another photograph. I did not see his girlfriend at the event.

Keesha had walked out of the zone, and I saw her taking pictures so I thought what the heck again. As she is walking back I ask for a picture and here it is.. (note: She was on a plane since 5 am and they lost her luggage. She looked great.)




Keesha is gorgeous and she is exactly like you see her on the show except she is much smaller than I thought. We started talking about Big Brother and I did not feel strange at all talking to her. I can’t remember the order or anything, but I think I started asking her who she talks to from BB. She mentioned Steven, Memphis, Dan and Brian. I then mention Steven had a chat the night before where he mentioned Jerry had throat cancer. She looked sad for a moment and I asked her if she had talked to Jerry and she said no. I then asked her if she had talked to Renny and she said no. She said she has tried to get in touch with Renny, but neither she nor Dan had heard from Renny. Of course I then have to ask if she has heard the rumors about Deesha. She said yes and laughs and then mentions she saw Dan when she went home. The subject is changed and we start talking about Renny again and I ask her if they got along in the house and she said they were great and they talked everyday. I said Renny had been acting strange recently and Keesha was nice and said Renny is a character. I mention her winning America’s Choice and she said she was in shock even after the show. The photographer comes by and says to Keesha we have been looking for you for ten minutes. I ask Keesha if we can get an autograph and we talk some more on the way to the closed area. She is just wonderful to talk to and she is so open in her responses.



Sum it up for me; I liked them both because they are warm and friendly in person. It isn’t all about them. In the middle of my conversation with Keesha she asks my name and later when she signs her picture, she remembered my name. This event was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.

I forgot to mention I asked Keesha who she talked to outside of BB10 and she said Chelsia, ED, and Dani. She smiled when she mentioned ED. I lost my concentration when she mentioned Dani, but I didn't have time to ask her anything. Darn it!!

Great pics! I always love hearing about who keeps in touch after the show. The Renny stuff really does make me sad, on both Keesha and Dan's behalf. I wonder what's up with her.
