I know most people here hate Eric for his slamming on Janelle, which he earned, but he was a great player. And the only reason he wanted Nick out was because he knew Nick was a huge threat to him in the game. So getting him out when he was supposed to get Kail out was doubly hard for him. Yet he got it done. Also, why he wanted Joe out. Two people who would pose him trouble in the game.
Nick, do you still talk to Jameka? She got such a bum wrap from the editing of the show. She was funny and had a lot of great moments in the house.

Jessica had a thing for Eric that I will never understand....
Who wouldn't have a thing for Daniele.. Look at her.. I personally find her to be the most attractive BB Houseguest.. Not just her looks.. I enjoyed her personallity, Brains, Style.. Etc.. It also helped that she had a romance with my favorite of all time..

America wanted Nick to stay, but Eric didn't want him to. Wasn't it after that when America's vote turned on Mr. Sock Man?
Yep. America was furious with Eric for being "disobedient" to our commands... that when everyone started hating him. Eric was sure put it a bad position with that. Eric was damn good at the game. The little shit.
I didn't care for him before that, but I definitely hated him AFTER that.

I thought Eric was funny and interesting, and he was very good at being America's Player....and I can understand how his real feelings could get involved in it sometimes....but with that being said, he really really got on my nerves with the Janelle remarks and this thing he has against women with some "weight" on them.....

I know. It really stinks that they can't have music, we would see a lot more dancing.

Eric... the turning point for me was the incest comments. He didn't say it just once either. I know how it is too.
A group gets together and they build their morale by trash-talking another group or person. It builds group loyalty. Everyone chimes in in their "mean-girl" way so they can join in the group-think. When that happens on BB, I never get all upset like some viewers do because I understand the dynamics behind it. Everyone does it too. Janelle/Howie/James/Kayser probably had the best of all time with their April at Target gigglefest.
But Eric went too far with the incest thing. There are just some things you don't say. It showed a real ugly side of Eric. He put the need to win above common decency.
--- I do love his blogs though. He is a good writer and often really witty.

I agree Nancy. That was the turning point for me too. I often found Eric hilarious and I remember I used to laugh at a lot of the things he said and I really enjoyed him at the beginning but as soon as that stuff started I was completely disgusted by how someone could even say that about people. Then came all the haters on the internet latching on to what he said and thinking it was hilarious and agreeing with him/basically stating it as a fact. It got pretty nasty. But whatever...it's in the past and I really don't care about many of these people anymore to be quite honest haha. I like Nick and I enjoy reading his posts. Other than that I still have a soft spot for Dick and Daniele, although I admit that I don't even really read Dick's blogs much anymore haha and Daniele has basically disappeared off the face of the planet which is understandable. I like the updates we sometimes get from Phil. Everyone else from BB8 I'm basically indifferent to...don't hate them, don't particularly like them either...really, I just don't think about them haha.
Honestly though, I got way too involved in BB8 haha. It was the first time I ever took my love for BB to the internet, and that's where I got sucked in. My day basically consisted of defending Daniele, reading the updates on jokers and refreshing every 5 minutes, watching youtubes of things that I thought sounded interesting, defending Daniele some more, defending Dick (if it was at all possible haha), and basically just trying to be the level-headed one in any given argument (at...sixteen years old?)
I can't really see myself getting that involved in any other BB season...but who knows what the future holds with BB11.

I agree, Nancy. I also remember Amber confiding in him and then he shared that with others. It was stuff like that which made me question his character.

Eric had his moments, I'll give you that. I admit that he's smart and he knew the BB game ..... both are qualities I'm usually drawn to in a player but two or three days into the feeds I was sitting there thinking of creative ways to shut him up. (I remember thinking "This guy must be single .... how the Hell would you ever get a word in?" and "Those nipple rings would come in handy if you wanted to bring a quick end to a monologue.") Then he started asking that our votes "help" him advance in the game and he lost me - I wanted my votes to help the players I liked, not him.

Hi Bryanna!! You were more level-headed than most of the fans trying to defend Daniele, even at 16.
