Shane was transfered to a different hospital where he's in intense rehabilitation. Making progress. Not ready for visitors yet.

But all is good. In the right direction.

Another Update...

Shane's incision is infected, so they're running tests to see if there is a clot.

He's talking, but still loudly. Can't control that. He's biting now. His finger, plastic spoons, etc. So they're dealing with that right now. He rests mostly with his eyes closed, and Katie tries to make him open them. here's the latest exchange:

"Shane... open your eyes."
"Why??"
"So I can see it in your eyes that you love me."
"Well, I can show you in other ways."

Heal it up, Shane!
