Welcome! We're so glad you found your way here! These threads at the top of the page are indexes, with links to all of the many recipes already posted by our members. We hope you'll pick one recipe (or a hundred) and give it a try.

We also invite you to post your favorite recipes on the cooking and baking board. It's easy! Just click on the "New Topic" button and type (or cut and paste) your recipe. Or, scroll down past the indexes to join a discussion already in progress.

I always lurked at the old board and I loved the cooking and baking section. I've tried a lot of the recipes and loved all of them.

I should add that I went by Lauren (my daughters name) at the old board. I've always felt more comfortable lurking, but when Nancy decided to open the new board I decided to sign up with my name and give posting a try. I already feel like I know most of you!

I am so glad you decided to jump in here, Colleen! I know sometimes it's hard to make that first post, but you'll be an old hand at this in no time all. And remember. We all had to start somewhere. Inky and Lori,

You have done an outstanding job organizing and maintaining this thread. It was a huge amount of work to transport all the recipes over from the old board. i love the index. It makes it so easy to quickly find just the recipe I am looking for.

All the recipes shared here by everyone are wonderful. I agree that this is one of the best threads on the internet but I am not so sure it is such a secret. I think a lot of people are aware of it and it gets a lot of reads.

Hello, as I guess it's obvious, I am not a regular poster here. However, I have to give a round of applause for Inky and Lori for this beautifully organized, mouth watering, amazing cooking and baking section! I have tried quite a few recipes from here such as Potato Candy, Cake Mix Cookies, Chocolate Bundt Cake, and Ziplock Omelet to name a few. This is the only section online that I find and actually use recipes from, believe it or not. Thank you guys for everything and for these super superb recipes!!! Very Happy
