This is my version of pizza, and it's just as good now as it was in my old low carb days! Feel free to jazz it up any way you like. This is the basic recipe. Quick Portabello Mushroom Pizza 1 Portobello Mushroom, cleaned
1/2 c. marinara sauce
1 oz. mozzarella cheese, part skim milk
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Using a spoon, scrape out the inside of the mushroom (the gills). The mushroom will look like a small bowl. Mix the scrapings into 1/2 c. of marinara sauce. Pour sauce in the mushroom. Add any additional toppings you desire. Cover with cheese. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
