I didn't know were to post this, so figured I'd post it here. I guess every board needs a "junk drawer," huh? Feel free to add to this thread . . . just whenever.

From Twitter . . .
Emeril Lagasse
"Today I will have the pleasure doing a part of an upcoming disney movie
princess and the frog how cool is that
not sure when its release"

"Not sure of the release date but ill keep you all posted thanks have a great day bam"

"Don't forget tomorrow morning on good morning america the winner to be announced of emerils slow cooking contest good luck finalists bam"

I've wondered, too. Have you been doing it for long? I just signed up within the past week or so and am still trying to find my way around. Any tips for what I should be doing? (Besides working, right now Laughing ?)

You all just have to check out the link posted below. HLN (Headline News Network) just featured this site on their morning show, and I just had to go and see what all the ruckus was about. Who wants a "Meat Cake" for their birthday? It's described as "meatloaf with potatoes and ketchup for icing." I'm willing to give it a try if I've got any takers. I think I'll use this picture in our birthday thread, sometime. Just fair warning.

There are more odd food combinations where this came from Laughing . . .

I showed that website to my grandson when he came over today, and he was fascinated. Look what he found . . .

Most of the stuff posted there is just plain wierd, but this was pretty clever. I might try this next year for the Super Bowl.

What a lovely site, marylou2. Thanks!

Food can be passionate and gorgeous, visually stunning! I love that so much.

But, I think the whimsical side of food and it's presentation is equally amazing.
*not anything less than passionate, as well*

That site is so neat, marylou2! Can you imagine having the talent to carve a watermelon that looks like this?
