| Hi Linda LOL at your smilie. Sorry it took me so long, we had big computer problems yesterday. Grrrrr a glass of water toppled over onto my lap top, and its now toast! Anyway supperworks was great so much fun! Here is what I made: 2 Aunt Bea's beef stews 2 Asian Peppered pork chops (6 chops in each) 2 Best baked chicken. (6 chicken breasts marinated in buttermilk and egg with a flour, chilli coating) 1 Pizza meat loaf 1 Turkey meat loaf 1 Pork Tenderloin with apple sauce and sliced apples and brown sugar topping. 1 Sirloin Roast in horseradish and roasted garlic marinate. I left out the horseradish as we don't like it. I also got 3 bags of sweet potatoe fries. We tried the Asian pork chops and sweet potatoe fries last night for dinner and it was delicious. Each meal feeds 4-6. The socializing was the most fun, it took 2.5 hours to prepare all the meals, all I have to do is thaw and cook, no prep or mess here at home. I am anxious to try them all so on Monday I will be putting one of the stews in the crock pot! _________________ Moderator

| I am not sure Kimmie. Here is the link to the store I was at yesterday. You can see the menu selections and ingredients/nutritional info on each selections. Linda if you check out the link above you can see all the ingredients in the Asian Pepper pork chops and you could easily make them at home. I think I remember how much to put in of each. I cut down on the amount of pepper as I didn't want it to peppery for the girls I only added 1/2 a teaspoon and the choice was 1-2 depending on how much you like. http://www.supperworks.com/index.php _________________ Moderator

| Hey, guys! It looks like you all have been busy, especially you, Sydney! I wish we had one of those "fix it and take it home" places around here, but the nearest one is in Columbus and that's two hours away. I think that sounds like so much fun, though.
Are you all staying warm? It has really been cold, snowy, and icy around here. Somebody took the "southern" out of southern Ohio, that's for sure. I think they said something like 20,000 people are still without electricity. My son and his family have been without all week, but I got lucky. All I got was the snow and ice . . . and more snow and ice, and we're supposed to get 8 more inches Monday and Tuesday. That's the bad news.
The good news is that I finally got high speed internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got so aggravated with DirectTV during this most recent storm that I canceled their service and switched to Time Warner with DVR and high speed internet. Two guys were here this morning and got everything set up. I couldn't wait to get online and share my good news with you. _________________ MODERATOR Counting down the days till our next trip . . . |

| Congratulations on the High Speed Inky! I hope your happy with it, I love mine It has been very cold and snowy here to and I for one am sick of it. I hope those areas get their power back soon, being without is awful. 8 inches that a lot, stay warm and safe. I think its going to take until July to melt all the snow we have. The this winter and last is the worst I have seen in a long time. Hopefully it will get better soon. _________________ Moderator

Isn't high-speed amazing?!!! How is your son's family coping with the loss of electricity? A whole week?! I realize that people do without after natural catastrophies, etc., but this is in the middle of winter! Keep safe Inky! I'm so excited that you'll be able to share your recipes and ideas that much faster! Happy Super Bowl Weekend |

| Well, it was carb overload at my house last night. It was my son-in-law's birthday, and since the birthday gal or guy gets to pick his or her dinner, we had Pennsylvania Dutch chicken potpie, mashed potatoes, green beans, cooked apples, rolls, birthday cake and ice cream . . . and lots of snackie-type stuff for the Super Bowl. With all that food in the house, I had a tough time finding something to eat. Everything had waaaaaaay too many carbs for me. The rest of 'em devoured it, though. And, my team won! (much to my son and grandson's irritation -- tee hee)_________________ MODERATOR Counting down the days till our next trip . . . |
