Caramel Corn
6 qts popped corn
3 cups pecans
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 white syrup
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Put popped corn and pecans in large baking pan.
Melt butter, stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Boil 5 more minutes. Take off heat, stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn mixed with pecans. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
