Final report ...... I ended up at $53.12. (I deducted a couple of dollars for unused food and added a couple for coffee.)
I just got off the phone with my girlfriend and she won, damnit! (She spent $46.79) She told me her menu and I just said "Dude! That sucks." (She hates it when I call her dude ..... I hang around too many males, I guess.) They had peanut butter toast and coffee for breakfast, grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch and spaghetti for dinner every night. I told her it sounded like a prison menu. Ha.
(Wait, that sounded unseemingly competitive for a sixty year old woman ..... I'd better take it back!)
Lunch on me tomorrow. I told her I was going to force-feed her fruit and vegetables.

lol! Pretty funny, Jessie! I like your competitive spirit. You are the winner of this competition, in my book. C'mon over and I'll buy you dinner. Heck. Anyone can eat peanut butter toast and spaghetti for less than $50 a week. I dare anyone, though, to eat as well as you and hubby did on $53.12!!! You rock, girl!

You did amazing Cousin! Very creative with your meals and they were nutritious to boot. I don't think I could even come close to what you accomplished this week, have a great lunch! I hope you treat yourself big time today!

Thanks. We're definitely treating ourselves today. We're going to watch the Canadian Men's University basketball championship game at Scotiabank Place this afternoon with friends (Carleton vs UBC - go Ravens!) and then we're all going to Wild Wood Steak and Chop House for dinner. Can't wait!

Where are you staying Sydney? Wild Wood Steak and Chophouse is west of the city in an area called Stittsville. Here's the address.
54 Springbrook Drive,
Stittsville, Ontario
K2S 1B9
613-836-899

Here are the directions from Scotiabank Place. (Just in case you're here for a game! Lol)
Scotiabank Place to Wild Wood

Here's a couple of reviews. It hasn't been open too long.

Oh wait ..... our waitress told us that Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood were there last week for her birthday dinner. I don't know if that's true but I don't know why she'd lie about it. (She wouldn't tell me what they ordered. Lol)
