For 75.00....

Interesting huh? It was a real shot in the arm, because I have been getting very minimal $$ for things that normally would be valuable. It's a girdle from 1963. I think with the return of the pin-up girl type models these have become an item of interest.

I was 15 in 1963 and a blossoming "wild child". My Mom wrestled me into one of those damn things for my Aunt's wedding. I occupied myself during the ceremony by unhooking my nylons and snapping my sisters with the hook up thingies. My Dad was laughing so hard he snorted. (For some reason, my Mom wasn't quite as amused.)

Gosh I have memories of my mom wearing those torture devices. I am so glad women no longer feel the need to strap themselves into those things! dance

Moody where do you get that stuff? Do you buy it on ebay and then resell it? Flea markets? Antique stores? Not sure how this works. Anyway, congrats!!

Estate Sales, second hand stores, yard and garage sales. I spend a good portion of my week "treasure hunting".

That is so much fun, Moody. My husband and I love tag sales and estate sales when we drive up to MA to visit my parents. We love used books, but we've also gotten lamps and a few little antiques. I wish we did it more often. It's great that you turned something fun into a business.
