Hi, there! Newbie here. That's actually my site. I saw a lot of traffic coming from this forum, so I thought I'd check it out.
Just to clarify, I'm definitely not trying to "cash in." I'm a huge BB fan, since Season 1, and just found a fun way to express my BB obsession over the summer. As you can see, I run an actual store with many more designs and concepts-- I just started a BB section for fans like me. (Especially those who watch the feeds, obviously.) It started when I started hoping to go to Vegas for the bash, and wondered what shirts I would want if I could get there. Turns out that I couldn't go, but I kept designing anyway. I also found that, when I googled "bb11 t-shirts," I didn't like the designs out there-- they were too basic, and not geared enough toward hard-core fans like me, but more for people who watch the CBS show.
The designs are not intended to take advantage of anyone or anything, whatsoever, but to commemorate a really fun season with lots of hilarious moments. (Especially from Jeff & Jordan.) I've had a lot of help in coming up with ideas, especially from fans on Twitter. I've also received a lot of great feedback on the designs, and I hope y'all like them, too.
Anyway, thanks for checking it out.

Thanks, MyScott! To my knowledge, Jeff & Jordan have not seen the stuff yet. I tweeted to Jeff about it, but I can only imagine how overwhelming it is to get the number tweets he does (especially being new to Twitter), so I wouldn't be surprised if my message got lost in the shuffle. I am able to see where the clicks come from (for the most part), and have not seen any that look like they could be coming from either of them... yet! I do hope they do get to see them and that they'll get a kick out of them. They were really fun to create, and I hope that they bring back some good laughs for them and their fans.

Thanks, Linda! I can tell y'all that the best-selling designs, so far, are Coup de what? You got got. and Let's Dance! I'm partial to Penguins one, myself. Anyway, I don't want to hijack these threads with stuff about my shop. Of course, if anyone has any questions or suggestions, please shoot me a message. (I've already received some good ideas, which I appreciate! Look for more stuff soon.) Carry on!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I must say, there is a *much* nicer "feel" here than in other BB spots on the web. (I'm sure y'all have heard that before.)

OK, you may haze me without mercy for asking, but please clue a newbie in. What does DUTS mean? The only meaning I know of doesn't seem to fit the context here...

| haha... Well there is a thread here that gives the roots to the DUT acronym. Its funny to us The reason I posted it was because you noticed how good natured we are at AABB. Good luck with your shop. | Oh, THANK GOODNESS! For a second, I thought it meant Dustbunnies Under The Sofa, which was gonna piss me off... Although the original post totally twisted and unbelievably venomous, it is really funny. It definitely has a familiar tone to it, from other sites I've visited. But what I really love is that y'all embraced your DUTtyness and ran with it. Many would've just cried into their snuggies for months, I'm sure! Well played. |
