chit chit chit... i muted the volume while a commercial was on and guess who's out???? LaToya!!! They were touting her for the win. Guess Michelle's calling her a cow may have had something to do with it lol

LaToya is evicted with 6.5% of the current vote total...


The housemates had gathered on the sofas in the Living Area to hear the results of tonight's eviction.

"Ben, Coolio, Latoya, Terry, Tommy, Ulrika and Verne," said Davina, "I can now reveal that the fourth person to be evicted is from the Big Brother House is..."


The housemates could hardly bear the suspense.

... "LaToya".

"I'm shocked," said a tearful Ulrika.

"Bye guys," said LaToya, "I had a great time."

Then LaToya left.

The housemates sat back down on the sofas and tried to figure out what had gone wrong for LaToya.

"She wasn't very active," said Tommy. "Voters don't like that."

"I didn't expect her to win," said Ulrika, "but I did think she'd be in the final."

"It's got to be a double eviction tonight," said Ben.

"When you walk out they tear you apart, don't they?" said a concerned Coolio.

Actually, the crowd seemed to love LaToya.

Davina is interviewing LaToya. Fun!

Davina appeared on the big screen in the house and called out each mate's name... Ben was coming or going to the bathroom... heehee

Tommy is the second evictee tonight.

Davina will be interviewing him, too.

Vern is going to win for sure, isn't he?

I love Davina! She usually calls the mates on their behavior or lack thereof LOL

The latest Task brings out the creative side of the crew...


After the trauma of losing Tommy and LaToya last night, the housemates may have thought that Big brother would give them an easy, Task-free day. No chance. Big Brother called and Ben trotted off to the Diary Room to collect the 'Task'...


"Congratulations on becoming the final five housemates in the House," Ben read from the instructions. "For today's Task, the housemates must make each other farewell presents..."

"...housemates may use the crafts provided and anything else they wish, but must not tamper with the fixtures and fittings."

"Fixtures and fittings?" asked Coolio, "what do they mean by that?"
"You musn't take anything from..." Ulrika began to say before Coolio realised and butted in.

"So, I can't take a camera down and give it to you?" he asked with a laugh. A laugh that no-one else joined in with.

"So, paper and sticky-backed plastic is it?" asked Ulrika.

"And lots of pictures of faces and stuff," added Ben.

So they set to work with feathers, photos, glitter and were so concentrated that barely a word was uttered.

The celebs give each other homemade gifts...


Their skills with crafts probably won't get them presenting jobs on Blue Peter, or Art Attack any time soon, but they certainly get 10 out of 10 for, ahem, effort.


Ben very kindly made a model of a rocket-powered scooter while Coolio made a 'poster' for Ulrika. But of course it couldn't be presented without a barb.

"I think Ulrika can sometimes be a bit stiff and it seems to me she needs to get out and party a bit more and needs to take advantage of her celebrityness, to go out and have a few drinks and get 'bucky'*" laughed Coolio as he held up his gift.

"Cool your jets daddio," said Terry before getting up to present his gift to Coolio - a lovely hat.

"I think Coolio would've been really bored in the House if it wasn't for me and I've learned a lot off him, so what I did was make him something to wear out in the 'hood," said Terry barely able to contain his laughter.

Then it was Ulrika's turn and she'd made an amulet with her face on for Terry. "I liked you from the get go and I thought you were funny," explained Ulrika as Terry could be clearly seen mouthing the word 'liar'.

"It says 'I love Ulrika, she's better than everyone'," she added.

Finally, it was Verne's turn and he'd made an 'anatomically correct' model of Ben and said, "I'm giving this to Ben so he can stop looking in the mirror."

Aww, what a lovely and kind lot they are...

The final five housemates in the Big Brother house have been invited to a farewell dinner.

"They've got to do something with us tonight. They've not even given us anything to drink," Terry complained to Ulrika in the living room.

At that moment, a bell rang out and an invitation was slipped under the door.
Ulrika then read out the card to Terry and Verne.

"Big Brother cordially invites all housemates to a farewell dinner, an evening of fine dining, music and celebration," she said.

"Dinner will be served in one hour, dress to impress."

Verne said that he didn't have any dress clothes, while Ulrika added that she wished she had not already eaten.

It's a fatal last night combination...


Last night Big Brother gave the housemates a good send off - a bit of a party with some music and some booze. But not everyone was pleased.


After hearing tunes by Sisqo, the Pussycat Dolls and Take That, Verne was beginning to seethe.

"Big Brother, please," said Verne in the Living Area. "Please, I mean, you promised us a party. Play some of the sounds we really like." Verne continued pleading, all the while Coolio talked over him.

"Please respect our contribution to your f****** TV show. And I'm being nice. Please. I'm tired of hearing this," continued Verne.

Big Brother then gave the housemates another booze delivery. But it wasn't enough to calm Verne.

"What about music man? Music? Please play one of my songs. Any one of 'em. I know you have 'em. So please play them. And don't play it while I'm in the bathroom. Wait til I get out," he instructed, going to the bathroom.

Coolio began getting a bit boisterous, for a change, and him and Verne had a bit of a spat about nothing. Coolio left the room to cool off.

"That's Coolio man," said Verne, shaking his head.

Coolio came back.

"You never let me finish," Verne moaned at him.

"Yes I do," said Coolio.

"No you don't,"

"I..." began Verne, but Coolio butt in, shouting over the top to Big Brother. "Play some Kid Rock right now!"

"Thank you," said Verne, trying another tack. "Look dude, I got total respect for you,"

"I got total respect for you," replied Coolio.

"Well, please stop getting mad at me," said Verne.

"It's like an episode of Oprah," laughed Terry. "Stop it boys."

Then the well-oiled banter turned to women and Coolio asked Ulrika to be nice to him.

"I am being nice," she said.

"If you want to be nice to me you know what to do. Follow me," he propositioned.

"Please play our song," said Verne again.

"Please play any song!" begged Ulrika.

Freedom!

Ulrika is almost free...


As the weeks have rolled by one housemate has been ready to leave at a moment's notice. And each time, they have been disappointed, as you've voted to keep them in the House.


Ulrika, now, is the surviving female in the House. She's been up for every eviction, and has balled her eyes out each time on hearing the news she'll be staying. So it's no surprise that today, with the outside world just a few hours away, she's in better spirits.

Coming to the Diary Room first thing, she asked Big Brother for some hair mousse. "I don't normally care what I look like," she said, "but I think today I should make an effort." Too right.

"We're all a bit excited today," she confessed. "Me and Ben and Coolio got up before the alarm. I'm really excited because there is no doubt that I will be leaving this time despite having been put up before. So there's a feeling of jubilation and exaltation. And a bit of anxiety too."

Don't be nervous Ulrika, you really are allowed to go home this time.

In case you needed a reminder, tonight is the final of Celebrity Big Brother 6. Three weeks of celebrities loving each other, hating each other, then (sort of) loving each other again.

This is easel-y the best Task...


Big Brother has asked the housemates to connect with their creativity, explore their imagination, and make a masterpiece... or a mess? Today's Task is to paint a picture of their time in the House and their Big Brother experience. Well at least it's not going to be a still life.


"We've got two hours to create our masterpiece," read Verne from the Task laminate.

"Nice," said Terry.

"F***," said Coolio.

"Big Brother rules: art has no rules," read Verne.

"Art has no what?" asked Ulrika, puzzled.

"My s***'s gonna be abstract ," said Coolio. "Cos I can't f**** paint!"

But Verne had another worry. "I should maybe change my clothes," he said.

"They might give us some smocks and s***," suggested Coolio.

Verne was a little bit of a diva on the Surreal Life also.
"I want more booze"
"I want to hear what I wanna hear"
I am not a bit complaining. For some weird reason, he is entertaining to me.
