No one is doing updates.. I don't want to either.
As was posted in the April 22nd thread... Shelia campaigned hard, pulling Adam's heart strings and it made him want to throw it to Ryan. Adam = spineless or smart?
What will be funny is if Adam tries to answer things wrong on purpose and gets them right. I think a lot of the final contest is lucky guesses.

Hi Nancy. I will updated tomorrow can't do it from work.

So Adam is getting sick of Shelia? is it enough not to take her to F2? Did Adam actually say that she is pushing him towards throwing it to Ryan?

Adam seems to me to genuinely feel bad for Sheila and conflicted about voting her out so he did tell Ryan he was going to try to tank the third part of the HOH comp from the first question. The problem is that the answers to the HGs questions aren't always so obvious and he may indeed win by trying to answer wrong.

DR still has all day to try to get him to try to keep Sheila and it sounded like they were pushing hard for her to campaign last night.

Edit to Add: He would not tell her one way or the other how he was going to vote but did tell her he felt he would lose to her if he took her. He also offered to "take care of her" (give her some money) if he didn't take her. She said she was not a charity case.

Sheila kept saying she wasn't trying to "guilt trip" Adam or "threaten" him last night and then kept doing both. I should have tried to count how many times she played the "single mom card" but I can't count that high. At one point she told him that she was the "queen of campaigning" and could work her stuff in the jury house. Adam called her on that as being a threat and she insisted it wasn't (it clearly was). Ryan pointed out that Adam would lose his and other votes if Adam won but didn't take Ryan. Adam is between a rock and a hard place.

All in all though, Sheila cried a little, begged for Tylenol PM (which she didn't get) and seemed to accept that her staying was a long shot. Adam had tears in his eyes when he told her that he owed Ryan too because early on in the game when she was so mean to him and hurt his feelings Ryan was there for him. He compared his situation to one of her having to choose between him and Allison (not really a good comparison though since Allison has been gone so long).

Adam did say he came on the show to help kids with autism. What could Sheila really say to that?

If Sheila were smart she would tell Adam she would donate a substantial amount to his autism fund should she win.

Is anyone else bothered by the number of comps deliberately thrown this year? It bothers me a lot. Especially the year Boogie pulled his "Richard Hatch". I personally blame him for Janelle taking her hand off during that comp due to the confusion of the moment. Personally I think they should come up with some type of penalty for those comps they know were deliberately thrown.

I would like to see a monetary compensation for winning HOH or POV to help stop HGs from throwing comps. I would also like to see disregard for the rules punished by taking away money from their stipend. I would like to see them do away with slop since it just makes them tired and cranky and more goofy penalties like the being chained together or just more funny situations in general (ie wake them up and make them dance for an hour occassionally or something silly).

I would like to see BB twice a year like this year but with real casting, not lazy casting done at the local bars and porno shops.

WOW I didn't hear him tell her that. Now I guess he has to decide what is more important to him his original goal in this game to help children with Autism or Shelia and her son. Adam needs to think about it, I hope that helping children with Autism TRUMPS the other. Shelia can be so manipulative it just blows my mind, I think that if she gets to F2 she might take the whole darn thing.

I read that when Adam was doing this, he was merely repeating what Ryan had said earlier to him. I'm beginning to think that Adam's just a spineless creep . . . a funny one, but still spineless.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I think it's disgusting! There is a good chance that this year's winner will have gotten there by throwing competitions. I think it's beyond time that BB tried to do something about this, and I love the idea of monetary penalties! That's the only way they're going to get it to stop. Lower the stipend, and make them earn it by winning competitions or challenges and fine them when they throw competitions.

Add to the penalties a very hefty (say 10-20% OF THEIR TOTAL EARNINGS) fines if they even mention sharing money or giving someone a "gift" if they help them win or promise F2. The "banana bread" concept is ruining the game. If this was the thing to do they could all just divide up the total money 14 ways from the get go and everyone just take their money and go home.

While they can't stop someone from giving a gift, they can darn well penalize them for talking about it, or using it as a bargaining chip, whether the feed watchers hear it or not.

Oh, Wow! I hope Adam screws up when trying to throw it to Ryan and actually wins. Ha! That could happen. He has won it accidently in the past. Right? Can Sheila play? I am so out of it. They have played 1 of three so far correct?

Adam won Part 1. Ryan won Part 2. Adam and Ryan compete, tonight, in Part 3. The winner picks who goes with them to Final 2.

Well, now I've confused myself. Live feeds vs. shows are messing me up. Adam won one part, Ryan won the other. I'm having a brain fart as to which was which. Someone will have to come along and straighten me out. And, I hope you're right. I really would like to see Sheila in Final 2. I'm not counting on it, though. That way maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Laughing

No!!!!

Ryan won the first HOH - Part 1. (The sitting on the water boards.) He doesn't get to play part2.

Sheila and Adam played Part 2. Adam won. It was another physical challenge and they will probably show that tonight.

Then Ryan and Adam will play Part 3. It probably will be shown on TV tonight. Adam has told Ryan he will throw the final to him so he (Adam) doesn't have to evict Sheila and it will be on Ryan to evict her. If Adam accidently wins, he may feel he has to take Sheila to the F2, but I doubt it.

Well, I just read this update. I find this very interesting.

Sheila talking out to Ryan/Producer. She's by herself but talking out loud. The bolded part is the part I find interesting and somewhat disturbing. I have to go and watch the clip of it to see if it truly is what is written.

"If Ryan wins with Adam, I'd still pick him to win, why wouldn't Adam? Interesting! HMM So that's what Julie meant about deserving to win. Ryan doesn't think Adam deserves to win, I got it! Now how do I explain that to adam before the competition, because Ryan is guarding him like a pitbull, like a frickin master! I'm talking to myself people, I'm going frickin insane. Ryan the producer, I got it! I got what you were explaining last night! "

Thanks, JW! That's what I had first and then I edited it . . . and then I thought, no, that's not right, either. I was all turned around. Laughing
