| Almost done, folks...Finale is tonight. Preview that was posted at Jokers: Any final thoughts? I know most of you hated this season, but i didn't mind it. There was no real strategy or big gaming, so if thats what you're looking for, i understand. I guess i prefer to watch the social experiment aspect of it more than the game. I like to see people creates bonds and rivalries and interact with one another. It has really bothered me that alot of people are so overzealous this season about calling them trash, etc. It was an intense season, but they're just people afterall. I thought the couples twist was a good one. I would have liked to have seen it play out for a whole season, but i understand that it caused more drama to break them up. It really did change the game. Team Pink was killing it before the split, but didn't win a thing (except James) after. They were obviously my favorites. I know they said and did some pretty over the top things, and i don't condone or excuse them. I also think they will be the ones to take something away from this experience. They were a lot of fun, otherwise, and really developed a friendship that i enjoyed. J/J/C all admittedly have very blunt, in your face personalities...and i actually prefer flawed and straightforward, even if they come off as bitchy. Sharon was just a true person that knows who she is and would do anything for you, and i appreciated having something like that in the mixture this year. No idea who will win after jury questions, but i'm sticking with Adam for some reason...

| I liked Team Pink. Overall not the best of seasons, imho. I don't know, maybe I'm jaded after watching BB6 and All Stars. BB8 was a let down for me as well. I still believe Adam will pull out the win. It may be closer than I originally thought but I still think he has the edge. |

| HATED this season. No one knew how to play this game or had any real strategy to speak of. I absolutley hated the couples twist. I was glad they broke them up but then then they had to go one step further and bring someone back. UGH. The season became a joke right then and there. We had THREE HG's that had been previously evicted in still the house. RIDICULOUS. At times most had their moments that were fun ect. I wish everyone well in life but I could care less if I ever see or hear anything about any of these people ever again. Adam will still win. I believe that he was more upset at the jury questions because he can be sensitive. I still can't believe they were surprised about the questions & that the jury saw tapes. IDIOTS. Here's hoping Grodner doesn't eff up BB10. _________________ MOD SQUAD

| For me this season was a bust. The couples twist would have been great, except, and this point is important to me, the producers decided who was partner with whom. Claiming these were "soul mates" was insulting. Some of the partnerships were destined to failure and/or additional obstacle. It never seemed like a level playing field. It was never really the HGs game to play, but rather the producers over stepping IMO. The casting for this season would have quite interesting without the twist. Leave out the established couples and they might have had a decent show. By putting the cast into "romantic" couples, it automatically cast a huge guys vs girls show. Woman were put into a subordinate position right off the bat. Being forced to share a bed with a "soul mate" like an arranged marriage, stand by your man! YUCK! If BB had not paired the HG, but instead informed them that each had a romantic equal in the house, it was up to them to find out whom, it would have been much more entertaining to me, leveled the playing field and you would have seen much more romance, respect, & gameplay. There would have been much less "my bitch inside" type comments and other complete turn offs for me the viewer. IMO, BB needs to police the HGs on what is acceptable in regards behavior. The use of the "C" word is socially unacceptable 99.9% of the time and should be called out as a foul in the game. It is extremely frustrating to me as a live feed viewer, to see the "edited" version of BB on TV. BB seems to have no problem revealing racial comments made by HGs (remember season 4?), yet fails miserably to show the effects of such emotionally charged sexists comments on the dynamics of the house. BB needs to halt production when "that line is crossed" and put a stop to it. (I know Arnold Shapiro would and did not tolerate such verbiage, and in season 4 made sure offenders were "called out" ie: Erika calling Jee a "boat person" was told to the HGs). BB is a social experiment with a game show element. Its time to up the game show and quit pandering to shock and awe audience. Survivor has gone full circle, and is back in form, I hope BB can do the same. _________________ Moderator 2.5 And that's the way it is.~ Walter Cronkite I was so much older then, I am younger than that now~ Bob DylanHope is a waking dream. - Aristotle |

| I hope for AG's sake what she said about having a older more diverse cast for the summer is true, or sadly this guilty pleasure will be ending for me. I'm giving it one more chance. A question for everyone, who are your top 3 favorite house guests? (from any season) Here's mine. 1.Janelle (BB6) 2.Kaysar (BB6) Jason BB3 (tied) 3.Jack (former FBI agent)& Howie (BB6) (tied) My #4 is Will ( BB2 & AllStars) & Daniele BB8 (tied) eta I forgot about Jason BB3

My first three are people that I know I would enjoy being around in real life as much as I enjoyed watching them play BB. 1. Janelle 2. Kaysar 3. Jason (BB3) My fourth is someone who I enjoyed watching play the game (except for some of the things he said in BBAS) but based on post-game stuff would probably not enjoy being around in real life. 4. | Final thoughts - thank goodness this one is over and let's hope BB10 is better. I really miss Shapiro running the show but hope Grodner is getting the message since she sold the next cast will have more older people. In an attempt to be charitable, I am going to try to find one nice thing to say about each Houseguest.Adam - was kind when he took a risk with his own alliance and didn't put James up right away. It was kind of the same thing as Chicken George did when he didn't put up Janelle.
Ryan - seems pretty loyal to Jen.
Sheila - was great about cleaning up after everyone without tooo much complaining.
Sharon - was incredibly loyal and tried not to lie in the game.
Natalie - had a very competitive spirit.
James - showed a kind, compassionate side and willingness to act when Amanda collapsed and he helped her.
Josh - some of his self talks were very humorous.
Chelsia - her good-bye message to James on his first eviction was sweet.
Matt - has a great smile.
--- Jacob - felt bad he let Sharon down.
Parker - showed his competitive spirit in the first competition.
Jen - has rooted for Ryan despite her obvious disappointment in not being in the game longer.
Amanda - stood strong against the comments that referenced her Dad.
Alex - was cute and clearly is a hard worker in real life.
Allison - seemed to genuinely care about Ryan. _________________ MODERATOR

| I liked this season a lot better than last summer(BB8) and was glad the Donato's were the final two. Happy that Adam and Ryan are in the final two this time and doesn't matter which one wins because I like both of them and think they played a good game. The only thing that could have made it better was if Natalie was there. _________________ Four things you can't recover:

| I enjoyed watching the show and then reading what everyone thought on this board. Everyone here seems to take what is said as game comments and not personally. This was the best part of the season for me. I hope everyone continues to visit here to keep up with all things BB and to watch the next season together. I love how this board does not get nasty when some other boards do. Kudos to the posters here. I will continue to check back regularly and see you all for BB10. _________________ BB Posters! I love that aspect of this board as well. We don't all enjoy or appreciate the same HGs (except for Janelle and probably Kaysar, of course) but, for the most part, we can discuss our views without all the nastiness so prevalent on other boards. (and when we step over the line, Nancy reels us back in - love that) Fingers crossed for a more diverse, intelligent, competitive and perhaps subtle group in BB10. | I didn't like this season as much as some. I didn't like it that they didn't know a thing about BB or how it's played. Alex and Amanda started it off by breaking the cardinal rule of BB... never nominate a member of your own alliance. I didn't mind Shelia or Allison as much as a lot of people. I thought they were funny sometimes. I didn't mind what Josh said or did either. He was being a snot but he was also funny and entertaining. I liked James the best. I didn't think Chelsia was as bad as some do. I liked Sharon a lot and wish that she won because I think she would really do good with the money. Natalie has now replaced Dustin from last year as my all time worst houseguest. When she came on the feeds, I had to turn it off or switch cameras. Her ignorance was just too much for me. Of the two left, I hope Adam wins. All time favorite houseguests Janelle Jack Kaysar Eddie Danielle Reyes (BB3) |

| This season was the worst in BB history, horrible, really bad, uninteresting houseguests (with the exception of Team Pink) and a horrible final 3, with the (I think) second shortest endurance ever, there was no real competitive drive, no one was fighting their heart out except for the disco ball challenge, I felt 2/3 of everyone was a floater, and was just dragged to the end, without really having to do anything to get there. And I felt the people who actually did fight to get to the end (James, Sharon, Natalie) didn't make it, and so we were left with a lazy, not likeable, floater final 3. Favorite Houseguests: 1. Daniele (BB8) 2. Diane (BB5 & All Stars) 3. Jason (BB3) I also love Danielle (BB3), Dick (BB8), Marcellas (BB3), and Team Pink from this season. (I never watched BB6 or 7 but If I did I'm sure I would adore Janelle (and Kaysar and Howie) as much as you all do, but unfortunately it is not out on DVD ) _________________ Rooting for: DAN, Keesha, & Renny! | Awwww RLG327, BB6 and 7 were just the best. I hope you find time to see them sometime. The episodes are still up on the "Odd and Stupid" site. BB6 http://oddandstupid.com/BB6/bb6_tv_shows.htmBB7 http://oddandstupid.com/BB7/2006_bb7_all_stars_tv_episodes.htmJust remember when you watch BBAS that the whole Will/Janelle dynamic was totally left alone by the producers. (Only we obsessed live feed watchers knew what was really going on. Ha) Does anyone know if the backyard interviews following the finale will be shown on Real Player? At the end of the Janelle/Dick chat Thursday I kinda got the impression that we could watch the interviews on RP. Maybe not? If so, I hope someone Youtubes them. Nobody even comes close to Janelle. I did like Will when he was playing BB. I liked Kaysar alot too. I actually rooted for Alison and Diane/Nakomis on their seasons. Liked Daniele last year. |

Thanks for the reminder NickelPickle - I forgot about Nakomis. I was hoping that she'd win BB5. (She kinda freaked me out that night on the feeds that she completely lost it though. What a train wreck that was!) Daniele was my favourite from BB8. I thought she played the best and I was hoping she'd win but heck, when does my favourite ever win? Only happened on BB1. _________________ In combat or competition, where the stress levels are highest, you do not rise to the occasion… you sink to the level of your training.
