This site is our second incarnation. The first site was started in Feb of 2007 with a small group from TVCH who wanted to continue discussing Will Kirby and Janelle Pierzina. We grew to 900 members and soon were talking about a lot of other things. The old site had an out-dated format and limited bells and whistles. We moved here on Jan 13th, 2008.

Guests may view and read all forums except the Lounge and the Janelle forum.
Only members may view those two forums. Only members are allowed to post.

This is an adult site. There is no censorship of language beyond sensible standards of good taste. We don't censor updates. If the houseguest says "shit", we are not going to put ****
unless the updater wants to.

Rules for posting on this site:

1. This is a moderated discussion forum. We have volunteer moderators who delete inappropriate or inflammatory posts.
Only the administrator can ban members.

Members are strongly urged to familiarize themselves with our rules, and make an effort to become a positive member of our community.

2. Civility: Treat other members with respect. Do not post personal attacks against other members of this discussion forum.
If you must, criticize the post, not the poster.

3. Content: Do not post messages that are inflammatory, extreme, divisive, incoherent, or otherwise inappropriate.
Do not engage in anti-social, disruptive, or trolling behavior.
Do not post broad-brush, bigoted statements.
Try to steer clear of hot-topics like politics and religion. Although it is not against the rules to bring these topics into a discussion, tread lightly.
If a poster starts spewing far-out kookery on either side of the spectrum, I will delete your post and ban you.

Do not tell other posters what they should be posting or how.
It is not your job to lecture other posters about the post subject or topic. Never post on this discussion board, "Why do you care?"
Depending on a poster's history here, posting "why do you care" will likely get you banned.

4. Moderator decisions won't be explained. When a thread is locked, there may be an explanation, but not necessarily. When a post is
deleted, the moderators are not required to give an explanation.

5. If it is discovered that you are registered under multiple names,
you will be notified and asked to pick one screen-name.

6. No bashing of Janelle Pierzina.

7. If a thread has been dormant for over a week do not quote and respond to an old post. If you have a new thought or something interesting, please feel free to post, but do not drag up old conversations.

8. You can have avatars and signature lines, but don't over-do the .gifs. Please use only one .gif ( if any) in your signature line. Do not post large non-Big Brother signature lines. They are distracting and make reading the posts more difficult.

The administrator and/or the moderator will remove any offensive or DISRUPTIVE avatar or signature line or screen name. What is offensive and/or disruptive is determined by the administrator.

9. Added 6-14-08: If a houseguest or a former houseguest joins and posts at this site, then all civility rules apply. There will be no bashing of any member even if they were a houseguest.

10. hidemyass.com or any open proxy server is not allowed. Do not mask your IP address as it is usually done by those who are here to disrupt.

11. All rules apply to private messages. If you send a nasty PM to someone, you will be banned.

Houseguest bashing.

It is fine to bash the houseguests within reason. However, do not bash the other posters who differ with your opinion.

If you want to say something negative about a houseguest use common sense.
Do NOT call someone a rapist, pedophile, child molester or any other over the top slurs.

Avoid sexist terms like slut, whore etc. It would be fine to say someone is acting slutty or acting like a whore. There is a subtle difference.

It's fine to call someone weird, creepy, dumb, kooky, loud, obnoxious, etc.
The list is long, but be reasonable. Remember, someone else may like the person you are slamming.
There is no reason to antagonize other posters.

Don't alter a guests real name to some other mean or nasty name.

All posters can diffuse tension by posting: In my opinion, XXXX is ......

It might be a good idea to re-read the rules, especially terms used in describing the houseguests.
Skank, whore, etc is not allowed. They are sexist terms used for women.

I don't feel like messing with a few of you who have done this.
Just use one name and that is all. I can tell by you IP address and I can also get around the "masking" IPs, so it isn't working if you think it is.

In fact, anyone who uses IP masking is automatically suspect of being up to no good.

Signature lines.

Today I rearranged the order as it relates to signature lines.
The section about signatures was in the top section and not listed in the numbered rules. I moved that section down and it now appears under rule 8.

Sorry about rules, but it helps us all enjoy the site.

Nancy, I have a question. Hope its ok to ask it here. When I was posting info about the Real World/Road Rules challenge yesterday, I previewed it, as I do with all my posts, and something I posted turned into a link or something that said morons.com. I was like, what the heck is that??? Anyway, I tried a couple times to type what I was going to say, and it wouldn't take it, so I changed my words all together. Was it a glitch or something?? It was weird.
